Moving Day!

Yesterday was a very special day: It was moving day! Yes, you heard me right! A week or two ago, we bought a house, and yesterday we finally moved into it! First of all, Mom dropped off all the kids (except me) at a friend's house, so they wouldn't get in the way. At 10:00, one of Dad's friends arrived to help us pack our stuff into the truck, which took over two hours!

When we got to the new house, we promptly started unpacking our stuff. It was hard work! At about 1:00, Mom arrived with lunch, which was pizza! She had also gotten a small box of Cinnamon Bites for free because she paid with cash. We each had some slices of pizza🍕, some Coke, and some of the Cinnamon Bites (which were delicious!), then we got back to work.

We finally finished some time in the afternoon (I can't remember exactly when). By 3:00, Mom had picked the other kids up and brought them here.

I spent some of my time rebuilding my Lego sets (which I had dismantled about a week ago) and looking through a jar of pennies that one of our old neighbors had given us. The oldest penny in there was (believe it or not) a 1934! There were also some dimes, nickels, and Canadian pennies.
