The Rubik's Cube

The Rubik's Cube is a 3-D combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Erno Rubik. It's a cube (duh), and to solve it you have to twist its sides around until each of the six sides has only one color on them. When it was marketed, it was called the Magic Cube, but the name was soon changed to the Rubik's Cube.

There are several versions of the Rubik's cube, which go down to the small 2 ✖ 2 cube, and even as large as 10 ✖ 10! But the standard version of this puzzle is the 3 ✖ 3.

There's a pretty good chance that you have a Rubik's Cube, or have heard of it. If you don't have it, I'd suggest you start saving up your pocket money to get it.

If you have just gotten a Rubik's Cube, I'd suggest not to try your luck at solving the whole thing right away. Start small, for example, try your luck at solving one side. Once you think you're ready for the final test, here's a link to a video that might help you out:
