Ginko trees!

Today we went to an arboretum with my friend, John Paul. We were going there to see some trees called ginko trees. Weird name, right? There were tons of them, all in a row. There were even some cows! We started a leaf war with the girls, where we pick up a ton of leaves and throw them all over the girls.

After a while, John Paul had to go. We were going to stay for a bit longer, so we went over to an area that had a lot of bamboo. One of the sprouts had fallen, so I picked it up and tried to move it around the area. It was hard! I found a dead stalk that was still in the ground, and with a few heaves, I ripped it right out of the ground! It made a big CRACK! coming out.

Then we had to leave. Thea's foot was hurting, so Mom said me and Elle should stay with her while Mom fetched the car and came to pick us up. While we were waiting, a lady with two dogs passed by, and she let us pet them. One of them jumped on me! She said it was because he really liked me. Then Mom arrived. We got in, and drove home.
