The six Ws
Some detectives use the six Ws (WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY, and HOW) to organise their clues.
WHO
Write the names of any potential suspects.
WHAT
Describe what was stolen/damaged.
WHEN
Write the time that you think the crime occurred at.
WHERE
Write the place where the crime occurred.
WHY
Think of reasons why the crime was committed.
HOW
Write how you think the object was stolen/damaged.
