Trick or Treat!

When we got home from trick-or-treating last night, it was too late too blog about it, so I'll do it now.

Before we left, we had an early dinner. And guess what we had? We had toast! It was the first time we had toast for dinner!

After dinner, we got our costumes on and went outside for a picture. After the picture, we went in the car and drove to Charlie and Laura's house (we were going to go trick-or-treating with them). We had to take off our costumes for the drive.

When we arrived, we got our costumes on again and chatted for a bit. Charlie's costume was really cool. He was dressed as a Mandalorian warrior! I don't know what Laura was dressed as, because she was wearing her jacket over her costume. It was really cold!

Then it was time to start the trick-or-treating! We did dozens of houses. We nearly went all the way back to my house! But there was something that was making it partly unpleasant: the cold. My hands got so numb it took incredible effort just to wiggle my fingers around!

When we got back to Charlie's house, we went inside to rest and warm up a bit. I managed to make one of my hands into a fist, but it was hard because my fingers were so numb. But then I couldn't open it again!

Then it was time to go home. We took our costumes off and got into the car. We drove back home, and you can probably guess what we did then. We got dressed, had some of the candy (yum!), then flopped into bed. And Halloween was over.

Trick-or-treating has begun!

SPOOKY!
