 Is it possible to see right through a rock?

Believe it or not, it is! If you melt a rock and do the right things with it, it will become glass when it cools! And everybody knows that you can see through glass.

Can you put someone into a coma with urine?

Even though it sounds gross, it's true! If you boil urine, stretch it and fold it a lot, and let it cool, it becomes a deadly substance called phosphorus. Eating the tiniest speck of pure phosphorus will put you into a coma.

Can you see the past with a telescope?

Yes! Light from stars and planets takes a while to reach our eyes, so we do not see the planet or star as it is at that exact moment. If you look through a telescope at a certain star, you'll see the star as it was more than 400 years ago! Incredible, right?

Are you related to an ant?

Yes you are! All land animals are distantly related. A couple billion years ago, there were no land animals, only fish. But then one brave fish, the lungfish, wandered onto land and eventually evolved into all the land animals extinct and living. So yes, you are very distantly related to an ant. Strange, right?
