Battle in the water
Chapter 1- U-boats on the loose
Lego city was getting ready for a gigantic sea battle. The subs had tracked down enemy U-boats (subs) on the radar. They were only 30 miles away, and were moving at 5 mph. So that meant that in less then 5 hours, the battle would begin. There were already 10 city subs out in the ocean. The enemy subs were getting closer and closer. They were planning to send torpedoes at the city battleships on the water above. While they were watching the battleships through the periscope, a lucky shot from one of the battleships knocked it right off! Another shot hit the enemy sub in the propeller. So there it was, without a periscope and without a propeller.
Chapter 2- Death to a U-boat
The sub floated to the surface, because it had no propeller to keep it moving to keep it from floating to the surface. As soon as it reached the surface, the ships fired at it. Large holes make water flood the U-boat, and it sinks gently to the ocean floor. The battle had begun just then, and many enemy battleships had been torpedoed down. Only 40 subs remained on each side. Enemy U-boats were getting destroyed by torpedoes from the other subs. On the surface, the battleships were launching a lot of bombs at each other. All the glass windows on the ships had broken with a bang. Bombs were still hitting the ships every where they could get to: masts, bridges, even the second funnel! It seemed as if the battle would never end.
Chapter 3- U-boat supply running out
After hours and hours of watery battle, the supply of subs began to run out. Both sides began to worry, because they knew that the battle was almost over, and none of them wanted to lose. They kept on fighting, capsizing subs and torpedoing ships. After many more hours, only a few ships and a few subs remained. If the city shot down the rest of the enemy ships and subs, it would win the battle. Will the city win?
Chapter 4- Victory at last
The enemy subs were shot down, and so were the enemy ships. Lego city had won again. They had lost many ships and subs, so they built new ones, ready for the next battle.
